Prelude

Someday

All I Have Is Christ

I once was lost in darkest night, yet thought I knew the way; the sin that promised joy and life had led me to the grave. I had no hope that You would own a rebel to Your will, and if You had not loved me first I would refuse You still.

But as I ran my hell-bound race, indifferent to the cost, You looked upon my helpless state and led me to the cross. And I beheld God’s love displayed, You suffered in my place; You bore the wrath reserved for me; now all I know is grace!

Chorus: Hallelujah! All I have is Christ! Hallelujah! Jesus is my life!

Now, Lord, I would be Yours alone and live so all might see the strength to follow Your commands could never come from me. O Father, use my ransomed life in any way You choose, and let my song forever be: my only boast is You. Chorus

Call to Worship/Prayer of Invocation

This Is Amazing Grace

Who breaks the power of sin and darkness? Whose love is mighty and so much stronger? The King of Glory; the King above all kings.

Who shakes the whole earth with holy thunder? Who leaves us breathless in awe and wonder? The King of Glory; the King above all kings.

Chorus: This is amazing grace, this is unfailing love; that You would take my place, that You would bear my cross. You would lay down Your life that I would be set free. Jesus, I sing for all that You’ve done for me.

Who brings our chaos back into order? Who makes the orphan a son and daughter? The King of Glory; the King of Glory.

Who rules the nations with truth and justice; shines like the sun in all of its brilliance? The King of Glory; the King above all kings. Chorus

Bridge: Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, and worthy is the King who conquered the grave. (3X)

You Are My King (Amazing Love)

I’m forgiven, because You were forsaken. I’m accepted; You were condemned. I’m alive and well, Your Spirit is within me, because You died and rose again.

Chorus: Amazing love, how can it be that You, my King, would die for me? Amazing love, I know it’s true; and it’s my joy to honor You. In all I do, I honor You.

You are my King, You are my King. Jesus, You are my King. Jesus, You are my King. Chorus

Corporate Confession of Sin

Eric DeGroff, Ruling Elder

Gracious Lord, we confess we have dishonored You in our words, thoughts, and deeds. Depending on our strength, we have stumbled. Trusting in our goodness, we have become prideful. Confident in our plans for our lives, we have failed to seek Your will. We pray now, Lord, for You to forgive all of our many sins; to cleanse the darkness from our lives, and to turn our faces and hearts back towards You. We pray these things in the name of Your most precious Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.

You’ve Been Caught in Adultery

Celebration of the Lord’s Supper

New Covenant welcomes all baptized Christians who have forsaken their sin and trust in Jesus Christ alone for salvation, and who are members of congregations that proclaim the Gospel, to receive the Lord’s Supper with us. The elements will be passed through the rows in the sanctuary and in the fellowship hall. We wait to eat together as a family meal. Gluten free bread is provided.

Create in Me (During Communion)

Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing (Hymn No. 457)

Come, Thou fount of ev’ry blessing, tune my heart to sing Thy grace; streams of mercy, never ceasing, call for songs of loudest praise. Teach me some melodious sonnet, sung by flaming tongues above; praise the mount! I’m fixed upon it, mount of Thy redeeming love.

Here I raise mine Ebenezer; hither by Thy help I’m come; and I hope, by Thy good pleasure, safely to arrive at home. Jesus sought me when a stranger, wand’ring from the fold of God: He, to rescue me from danger, interposed His precious blood.

O to grace how great a debtor daily I’m constrained to be! Let Thy grace, Lord, like a fetter, bind my wand’ring heart to Thee. Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it, prone to leave the God I love; here’s my heart, Lord, take and seal it, seal it for Thy courts above.
