Our Vision
Making disciples in Hampton Roads & beyond through shared faith, shared lives, & shared mission. Jesus commanded us to make disciples of all nations, bringing them into His family and then baptizing them and teaching them to obey everything He taught us (Matthew 28:19-20).
We believe that command is accomplished through three aspects of our church life:
Shared Faith - God has given us His revealed truth in the Bible, which we spend our lifetimes learning, understanding and applying in our daily lives. We are a Confessional church, which means we are united by what we believe according to the Bible.
Shared Lives - God describes the church as His family because it was not His intent that we live in solitude from one another. Our learning, growing, struggling, and serving in the Christian life is done as a community.
Shared Mission - God also calls His family to serve the community around them and to proclaim Him to that community so others can enter into the joy and peace that He offers.
