There Is a Fountain

There is a fountain filled with blood drawn from Immanuel's veins; and sinners, plunged beneath that flood, lose all their guilty stains; lose all their guilty stains, lose all their guilty stains; and sinners, plunged beneath that flood, lose all their guilty stains.

The dying thief rejoiced to see that fountain in his day; and there have I, though vile as he, wash all my sins away; wash all my sins away, wash all my sins away; and there have I, though vile as he, wash all my sins away.

Dear dying Lamb, Thy precious blood shall never lose its pow'r, till all the ransomed Church of God be saved, to sin no more; be saved, to sin no more, be saved, to sin no more; till all the ransomed Church of God be saved, to sin no more.

E’er since by faith I saw the stream Thy flowing wounds supply, redeeming love has been my theme, and shall be till I die; and shall be till I die, and shall be till I die; redeeming love has been my theme, and shall be till I die.

When this poor lisping stammering tongue lies silent in the grave, then in a nobler, sweeter song, I’ll sing Thy pow’r to save; I’ll sing Thy pow’r to save, I’ll sing Thy pow’r to save; then in a nobler, sweeter song, I’ll sing Thy pow’r to save.

Call to Worship/Prayer of Invocation

Take My Life and Let It Be

Take my life and let it be consecrated, Lord, to Thee. Take my moments and my days; let them flow in ceaseless praise, let them flow in ceaseless praise.

Take my hands and let them move at the impulse of Thy love. Take my feet and let them be swift and beautiful for Thee, swift and beautiful for Thee.

Take my voice and let me sing always, only, for my King. Take my lips and let them be filled with messages from thee, filled with messages from Thee.

Take my will and make it Thine; It shall be no longer mine. Take my heart it is Thine own; it shall be Thy royal throne, it shall be Thy royal throne.

My Jesus, I Love Thee

My Jesus I love Thee, I know Thou art mine; for Thee all the follies of sin I resign. My gracious Redeemer, my Savior art Thou; if ever I loved Thee, my Jesus ’tis now.

I love Thee because Thou hast first loved me, and purchased my pardon on Calvary’s tree. I love Thee for wearing the thorns on Thy brow; if ever I loved Thee, my Jesus ’tis now.

I’ll love Thee in life, I will love Thee in death; and praise Thee as long as Thou lendest me breath; and say, when the death dew lies cold on my brow: if ever I loved Thee, my Jesus ’tis now.

In mansions of glory and endless delight, I’ll ever adore Thee in heaven so bright; I’ll sing with the glittering crown on my brow: if ever I loved Thee, my Jesus ’tis now.

Corporate Confession of Sin

Pastor Tim Dryden

Father of mercies, we confess that we have sinned against You. We have rebelled by making our own desires and ways central, while ignoring or evading Your desires and ways. By Your Holy Spirit, come and work repentance into our hearts. Help us to see You as You are: holy, yet inviting, with a loving heart, and salvation accomplished through Your Son. Help us to see Jesus, the Friend of sinners, and to follow Him more faithfully. As we have received Him, so strengthen us to walk in Him, depend on Him, commune with Him, as You conform us to Him. Enable us to believe in Your grace in a way that makes us bold for others, that we might joyfully tell our friends and neighbors of Your saving mercy. We ask in Your Son’s name. Amen.

Morning Prayer

Only Jesus

Father of grace, You’ve sacrificed Your only Son for us, the crucified Jesus. Enlarge our hearts to love Your Son. O grant to us the grace to walk with Him always, to make Him our great delight, bringing worship with our lives.

Chorus: Only Jesus! Only Jesus! Give us Jesus, we cry. Only Jesus! Only Jesus! The Pearl of greatest price.

Spirit of grace, You’ve shed Your light upon our darkened eyes, unveiling Jesus Christ. Come change our hearts, conform our ways to honor Jesus’ name, His glory, our refrain. Let His love compel our own, as we worship at His throne.

Bridge: Jesus, our Great Savior, Lord of heaven, Son of God.

Doxology

Praise God from Whom all blessings flow; praise Him, all creatures here below: alleluia, alleluia! Praise Him above, ye heav’nly host, praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost: alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia!

Sermon

Jesus’ Death and Resurrection and Ours … As God Changes Us

Celebration of the Lord’s Supper

New Covenant welcomes all baptized Christians who have forsaken their sin and trust in Jesus Christ alone for salvation, and who are members of congregations that proclaim the Gospel, to receive the Lord’s Supper with us. Individuals pick up their elements from the tables in the sanctuary or in the fellowship hall and wait to eat together as a family meal. Gluten free bread is provided.

Just As I Am (During Communion)

Be Thou My Vision

Be Thou my vision, O Lord of my heart; naught be all else to me, save that Thou art − Thou my best thought by day or by night, waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light.

Be Thou my wisdom, and Thou my true Word; I ever with Thee and Thou with me, Lord; Thou my great Father, I Thy true son; Thou in me dwelling, and I with Thee one.

Be Thou my battle shield, sword for the fight; be Thou my dignity, Thou my delight, Thou my soul’s shelter, Thou my high tow’r; raise Thou me heav’nward, O pow’r of my pow’r.

Riches I heed not, nor man’s empty praise, Thou mine inheritance, now and always: Thou and Thou only, first in my heart, high King of heaven, my treasure Thou art.

High King of heaven, my victory won, may I reach heaven’s joys, O bright heaven’s Sun! Heart of my own heart, whatever befall, still be my vision, O Ruler of all.

Words by Mary E. Byrne (versified by Eleanor H. Hull) and music is a traditional Irish melody (arr. by David Evans); Public Domain; CCLI License # 387777
