He Has Come for Us (God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen)
God rest ye merry gentlemen, let nothing you dismay. Remember Christ, our Savior, was born on Christmas day to save us all from Satan's pow’r when we were gone astray.
Pre-chorus: O, tidings of comfort and joy, comfort and joy. O, tidings of comfort and joy.
Chorus: He has come for us, this Jesus. He’s the hope for all mankind. He has come for us, the Messiah. Born to give us life. (He is born to give us life.)
From God, our heav’nly Father, a blessed angel came. And unto certain shepherds brought tidings of the same. How that in Bethlehem was born the Son of God by name.

Call to Worship/Prayer of Invocation
Hark! the Herald Angels Sing (Hymn No. 203)
Hark! the herald angels sing, “Glory to the newborn King; peace on earth, and mercy mild, God and sinners reconciled!” Joyful, all ye nations, rise, join the triumph of the skies; with th’angelic host proclaim, “Christ is born in Bethlehem!”
Chorus: Hark! the herald angels sing, “Glory to the newborn King.”
Christ, by highest heav’n adored, Christ, the everlasting Lord! Late in time behold Him come, offspring of the Virgin’s womb. Veiled in flesh the God-head see; hail th’incarnate Deity, pleased as man with men to dwell, Jesus, our Emmanuel. Chorus
Hail the heav’n-born Prince of Peace! Hail the Sun of Righteousness! Light and life to all He brings, ris’n with healing in His wings. Mild He lays His glory by, born that man no more may die, born to raise the sons of earth, born to give them second birth. Chorus

O Come, O Come, Emmanuel
O come, O come, Emmanuel, and ransom captive Israel that mourns in lonely exile here until the Son of God appear.
O come, Thou Dayspring from on high and cause Thy light on us to rise; disperse the gloomy clouds of night and death’s dark shadow put to flight. Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel shall come to thee O Israel!
O come, O come, true Prophet of the Lord, and turn the key to heaven’s door; be Thou our comforter and guide and lead us to the Father’s side. Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel shall by His word our darkness dispel.
O come, our great High Priest, and intercede Thy sacrifice, our only plea. The judgment we no longer fear; Thy precious blood has brought us near. Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel has banished ev’ry fear of hell.
O Come, Thou King of nations bring an end to all our suffering, bid ev’ry pain and sorrow cease and reign now as our Prince of Peace. Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel. Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel. Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel shall come again with us to dwell.

Corporate Confession of Sin
Pastor Tim Dryden
O glorious Father, with bowed hearts we humbly ask Your forgiveness. We have sinned in Your sight this week. Out of our pride we have borne fruit of worshiping our own wills over Yours. We have loved this world, counter to your warnings. We have not loved our neighbors as ourselves. Our record of righteousness is filthy rags, but we stand before You dressed in the robes of Your Son’s righteousness. Our faith is in what He has done for us as our substitute. We thank You for the boundless mercy we have obtained through Him by Your grace. We pray in His name. Amen.

Go, Tell It on the Mountain
Chorus: Go, tell it on the mountain, over the hills and everywhere; go, tell it on the mountain that Jesus Christ is born.
While shepherds kept their watching o’er silent flocks by night, behold, throughout the heavens there shone a holy light. Chorus
The shepherds feared and trembled when, lo! above the earth rang out the angel chorus that hailed the Savior’s birth. Chorus
Down in a lowly manger our humble Christ was born, and God sent us salvation that blessed Christmas morn. Chorus
