Across the Lands

You’re the Word of God the Father, from before the world began; ev’ry star and ev’ry planet has been fashioned by Your hand. All creation holds together by the power of Your voice: let the skies declare Your glory, let the land and seas rejoice!

Chorus: You’re the Author of creation, You’re the Lord of ev’ry man; and Your cry of love rings out across the lands.

Yet You left the gaze of angels, came to seek and save the lost, and exchanged the joy of heaven for the anguish of a cross. With a prayer You fed the hungry, with a word You stilled the sea. Yet how silently You suffered that the guilty may go free. Chorus

With a shout You rose victorious, wresting victory from the grave, and ascended into heaven leading captives in Your wake. Now You stand before the Father interceding for Your own. From each tribe and tongue and nation You are leading sinners home. Chorus

Call to Worship/Prayer of Invocation

Facing a Task Unfinished

Facing a task unfinished, that drives us to our knees. A need that, undiminished, rebukes our slothful ease. We, who rejoice to know Thee, renew before Thy throne the solemn pledge we owe Thee to go and make Thee known.

Where other lords beside Thee hold their unhindered sway; where forces that defied Thee, defy Thee still today. With none to heed their crying for life, and love, and light, unnumbered souls are dying and pass into the night.

Chorus: We go to all the world, with kingdom hope unfurled, no other name has power to save but Jesus Christ, the Lord.

We bear the torch that, flaming fell from the hands of those ho gave their lives proclaiming that Jesus died and rose. Ours is the same commission, the same glad message ours; fired by the same ambition, to Thee we yield our powers.

O Father Who sustained them, O Spirit Who inspired, Savior, Whose love constrained them to toil with zeal untired. From cowardice defend us, from lethargy awake! Forth on Thine errands send us to labor for Thy sake.

How Great Is Our God

The splendor of the King, clothed in majesty; let all the earth rejoice, all the earth rejoice. He wraps Himself in light, and darkness tries to hide, and trembles at His voice, and trembles at His voice.

Chorus: How great is our God! Sing with me: how great is our God! And all will see how great, how great is our God!

Chorus (Spanish): Cuan grande es Dios. Cántale cuan grande es Dios. Y todos lo verán, cuan grande es Dios.

And age to age He stands, and time is in His hands; Beginning and the End, Beginning and the End. The Godhead three in one, Father, Spirit, Son, the Lion and the Lamb, the Lion and the Lamb. Chorus (Spanish)

Bridge: Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to Thee: how great Thou art, how great Thou art! Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to Thee: how great Thou art, how great Thou art!

Corporate Confession of Sin

Kurt Nelson, Ruling Elder

Our Father, save us entirely from sin. Enable us to recognize our death to sin. When it tempts may we be deaf to its voice. Deliver us from the invasion as well as the dominion of sin. Forgive us for preoccupation with our own kingdoms and neglect of Yours. Forgive us for succumbing to our fear of people instead of being willing to show a costly, sacrificial love for people and telling them of Your matchless grace. Thank You that You have promised cleansing to all who come to You. Send us forth with the joy of our salvation so that others might taste and see that You are good. We ask in the name of Your Son, our Savior. Amen.

All Things to All People

Celebration of the Lord’s Supper

New Covenant welcomes all baptized Christians who have forsaken their sin and trust in Jesus Christ alone for salvation, and who are members of congregations that proclaim the Gospel, to receive the Lord’s Supper with us. The elements will be passed through the rows in the sanctuary and in the fellowship hall. We wait to eat together as a family meal. Gluten free bread is provided.

What Wondrous Love Is This (During Communion)

All Glory Be to Christ

Should nothing of our efforts stand, no legacy survive; unless the Lord does raise the house, in vain its builders strive. To you who boast tomorrow’s gain, tell me what is your life? A mist that vanishes at dawn; all glory be to Christ.

Chorus: All glory be to Christ our King! All glory be to Christ! His rule and reign we’ll ever sing, all glory be to Christ!

His will be done, His kingdom come, on earth as is above, Who is Himself our daily bread; praise Him, the Lord of love. Let living water satisfy the thirsty without price; we’ll take a cup of kindness yet; all glory be to Christ. Chorus

When on the day the great I Am, the faithful and the true, the Lamb Who was for sinners slain, is making all things new. Behold, our God shall live with us and be our steadfast light. And we shall e’er His people be; all glory be to Christ. Chorus
