Rejoice
Come and stand before your Maker full of wonder, full of fear; come, behold His power and glory yet with confidence draw near, for the One who holds the heavens and commands the stars above is the God who bends to bless us with an unrelenting love.
Chorus: Rejoice! Come and lift your hands and raise your voice; He is worthy of all praise. Rejoice! Sing the mercies of your King and with trembling rejoice.
We are children of the promise, the beloved of the Lord. Won with everlasting kindness, bought with sacrificial blood. Bringing reconciliation to a world that longs to know the affections of a Father who will never let them go.
All our sickness, all our sorrows Jesus carried up the hill. He has walked this path before us, He is walking with us still; turning tragedy to triumph, turning agony to praise, there is blessing in the battle so take heart and stand amazed.
Rejoice! When you cry to Him, He hears your voice; He will wipe away your tears. Rejoice! In the midst of suffering He will help you sing.

Call to Worship/Prayer of Invocation
Christ, Our Hope in Life and Death
What is our hope in life and death? Christ alone, Christ alone. What is our only confidence? That our souls to Him belong. Who holds our days within His hand? What comes, apart from His command? And what will keep us to the end? The love of Christ in which we stand.
Chorus: O sing hallelujah! Our hope springs eternal; O sing hallelujah! Now and ever we confess Christ our hope in life and death.
What truth can calm the troubled soul? God is good, God is good. Where is His grace and goodness known? In our great Redeemer’s blood. Who holds our faith when fears arise? Who stands above the stormy trial? Who sends the waves that bring us nigh unto the shore, the rock of Christ? Chorus
Unto the grave, what will we sing? “Christ, He lives; Christ, He lives!” And what reward will heaven bring? Everlasting life with Him. There we will rise to meet the Lord, then sin and death will be destroyed, and we will feast in endless joy, when Christ is ours forevermore. Chorus

Knowing You
All I once held dear, built my life upon, all this world reveres and wars to own. All I once thought gain I have counted loss, spent and worthless now compared to You.
Chorus: Knowing You, Jesus, knowing You, there is no greater thing. You’re my all, You’re my rest, You’re my joy, my righteousness, and I love You, Lord.
Now my heart’s desire is to know You more, to be found in You and known as Yours. To possess by faith what I could not earn, all surpassing gift of righteousness. Chorus
Oh to know the power of Your risen life, and to know You in Your sufferings, to become like You in Your death, my Lord, so with You to live and never die. Chorus

Corporate Confession of Sin
Bob Essmann, Ruling Elder
Dear Lord, I marvel that You took on a human body and were willingly crucified, dead, and buried. Your tomb calls forth my adoring wonder, for it is empty and You are risen. Let me die with You, that I may rise to newness of life, for I wish to be dead and buried to sin, selfishness, and the world. If I die with You I will not hear the calls of the world enticing me to its lusts. Deliver me, O Lord, for there is much ill about me, crucify the sin in me. Purge me from selfishness, the fear of man, the love of approval, and let me reckon my old life dead because of Your crucifixion. Grant me to stand with You, my dying and risen Savior, for the sake of Your glory. Amen.
Morning Prayer
Refiner’s Fire
Purify my heart, let me be as gold and precious silver. Purify my heart, let me be as gold, pure gold.
Chorus: Refiner’s fire, my heart’s one desire is to be holy, set apart for You, Lord. I want to be holy, set apart for You, my Master, ready to do Your will.
Purify my heart, cleanse me from within and make me holy. Purify my heart, cleanse me from my sin, deep within. Chorus

Holy, Holy, Holy (Nicea) (Hymn No. 100)
Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty! Early in the morning our song shall rise to Thee. Holy, holy, holy! Merciful and mighty! God in three Persons, blessed Trinity!
Holy, holy, holy! All the saints adore Thee, casting down their golden crowns around the glassy sea; cherubim and seraphim falling down before Thee, Who wert, and art, and evermore shalt be.
Holy, holy, holy! Though the darkness hide Thee, though the eye of sinful man Thy glory may not see, only Thou art holy; there is none beside Thee perfect in pow’r, in love, and purity.
Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty! All Thy works shall praise Thy name in earth and sky and sea. Holy, holy, holy! Merciful and mighty! God in three Persons, blessed Trinity!
